Up for sale is a Working, in excellent condition VW Eurovan ECU. This is from a 1999 model with the V6 - check the part number off your original to verify fitment. This unit is common to find on the Winnebago conversion van models. --- Correct Part numbers listed at top. This should fit others too, & as always with this type of component your best bet is to match the part number to the one on your original ECU. A faulty ECU is one of the most common no start or random stalling problems with these cars. These can also cause issues with erroneous check engine lights as well as emission control & cold or hot start problems. An erroneous check engine light is especially problematic, as the car will not pass the emissions portion of the test at the annual state inspection. If your car does not have these issues but you intend to keep it a while, I recommend our customers keep an extra ECU in the trunk. These units now have to be special ordered from most dealers new for big $$ (often times over $1000!), and you can never find one when you need one. Even now finding a good one second hand is getting to be quite difficult as these cars get older. Please note, that misdiagnosis of a good working ECU is one of the primary reasons we get these units returned. We no longer accept returns on these units without a 30% restocking fee. We test all units we possibly can, and will test any returned units. All units we sell are operational units that came out of crash damaged salvage cars. Unlike most sellers on ebay, we never sell ECU's from no-start cars or from flood damaged cars! |
