There were a few different variants of these units used from 1990-1995, depending on your emission control system (EGR cars usually use THIS ECU) check the part number off your original to be sure if this is right for your car. This comes with a 30 day replacement or refund guarantee.Though usually fairly reliable, ECU's can easily be damaged by faulty wiring, voltage spikes caused by a bad alternator, a battery charger or jumpstarting just to name a few. Sometimes a failure is simply age or mileage related. a faulty ECU is one of the most common no start or random stalling problems with these cars. These can also cause issues with erroneous check engine lights, idle control problems as well as emission control & cold or hot start problems. I have also seen fuel pump relay turn on faults (ECU won't turn on the fuel pump), as well as an condition where the high speed injector driver has failed.
