Up for sale is a Saab Black Direct ignition cassette.  Fully functional unit, unit is used original equipment Genuine Saab - not aftermarket.  was removed from a recent crash damaged car.  55562588 part number.  TK3.7 unit - which is a POST recall unit.  These are the direct ignition units that Saab is selling today, for almost $400.  I have plugged this into my personal 1999 Saab 9-5 sedan, and briefly tested the unit.  Started the car, idled for about 30 seconds, revved up to 4500 RPM, held for 20 seconds, observed no misfire, and observed the check engine light - no check engine light illuminated.   -------  This should be a GOOD used unit.  Genuine Saab.  These units almost always have a small crack in the plastic housing - usually between cyl 1 and 2 or between 3 and 4.  This does not affect operation, and is a cosmetic defect.  If you pop the plastic housing off (8 torx screws), you can see this is not an operational concern, it is just heat related and does not affect the internals of the unit.
