Mazda Millenia S Engine Computer KJZ218881 / KJZ2 18 881R / KJZ218881R  (The R in the part number, indicated a re manufactured unit)  - These units are commonly remanufactured due to a defect in the original units.  Commonly, original units caused an erroneous check engine light due to an overtly sensitive misfire detection.  These remanufactured units have a decreased sensitivity for misfire, which will eliminate erroneous the check engine light illumination.

This unit is a working, in excellent condition Mazda Millenia ECU. This unit came out of a 1995 Millenia-S with the Supercharged Miller cycle V6 engine. Should fit many 1995+- models. perhaps others as well. See part numbers at the top of the listing. This unit offers a 30 day functionality warranty. As always with this type of component your best bet is to match the part number to the one on your original ECU. A faulty ECU is one of the most common no start or random stalling problems with these cars. These can also cause issues with erroneous check engine lights, idle control problems as well as emission control & cold or hot start problems. I have also seen fuel pump relay turn on faults (ECU won't turn on the fuel pump), as well as an condition where the high speed injector driver has failed.
