This ECU should fit many Audi V8 Quattros equipped with an auto trans from 88-91. Possibly even other models/years, however as always your best bet is to match the part numbers with the part you need. Even if you don't have a bad ECU, this is great to keep as a back up or for diagnostic purposes.As always with this type of component your best bet is to match the part number to the one on your original ECU. A faulty ECU is a common no start or random stalling problem with these cars. These Early Audi V8's are getting to be a very rare bird indeed!  If you still drive one of these, you SHOULD have this in your parts stash.  This is located on the driver side, under your knee bolster.  Though it may look hard to remove, it is actually fairly straightforward.
