Up for sale is a Working, in excellent condition Audi 90CS v6 ECU. VW/Audi part number / 4A0 906 266 , Hitachi part # MMS100. This ECU came out of a 93 Audi 100CS, and should fit many 92 93 & 94 but as always your best bet is to match the part numbers with the part number off your original. A defective ECU This is one of the most common no start or random stalling problems with these Hitachi ECU controlled cars. They can also be the cause of erroneous check engine lights, poor performance due to either rich or lean running, or other driveability issues. Also non function due to water damage is not uncommon with these units if you have a leaky windshield or clogged sunroof drains! Be sure to repair the leak first if you have a water damaged ECU! If yours does not have these problems, keep an extra ECU in the trunk if you drive long distances or intend to keep your car for a while, you might some day be glad you did... These units now have to be special ordered from most dealers new for big $$ (often times over $1000!), and finding a good one second hand is getting to be a very hard chore.
