tr Jaguar ECU XJ12 (12 cyl) XJ-S Lucas / Bosch D-Jet 3 CU 83477 B Up for sale is a Working, in excellent condition Jaguar D-Jetronic V12 ECU. This from a 78 XJS -- This unit has very little "real world" use on it, because the car this unit was from was converted into a chevy 350 XJS with the kit advertised in the popular mechanics magazine. This was done only about 6 years after the car was brand new due to a sheered off cam shaft. They said "Jaguars that run" - but I never liked these kits... You lost the XJS sound, the feel & the "ooh look" when you opened the engine bay. If you have a vintage D-Jet Jaguar that you can open the hood on and say "ooh! rather than "aaaw", buy an spare ECU, or buy this and get your D-Jet jag running again. I have known this car "from the neighborhood" almost from brand new! The car this unit was from was always indoor stored and well cared for so the unit is in fantastic shape cosmetically. The fellow this car belonged to died a few years back, and the car must have developed fuel tank issues... It didn't run and his kids pushed it out of the garage where it sat outside and rusted to bits. His son dropped by one day and asked me if there was anything they wanted off of the Jag as it was getting hauled away that day. I grabbed the ECU because I knew it's history and figured someone with an original car would be happy as a clam to get a hold of such a nice one.
