Saab 99 2.0 Liter EMS Engine ECU - D-Jetronic **RARE!*** Up for sale is a Working, in excellent condition Saab 99 D-Jetronic ECU. Bosch Part number-- 0 280 000 039 - This ECU came out of a rusty 73 EMS 2.0 Liter model with the Saab motor. The car did run, so I can say for sure this unit works! This unit should be typical for all the D-Jet 72-73-74 cars equipped with the 2.0 Liter Motors (Should be EMS models, might NOT be correct for most 99-E / LE / GLE models) It may fit other models/years, but as always your best bet is to match the part number to the one on your ECU. If you still have one of these cars that is operational and has it's original D-Jet system you need a spare ECU for your car! If you wait till you actually "need" one, you will NOT be able to find one... Before determining if you have a defective D-jet ECU on a 99, you should check / replace your MAP sensor, and check the system grounds (which attach to your probably rusty battery tray). If these are good, you have good fuel pressure, and you are still having problems, there is a good chance your D-Jet unit has a fault.These D-Jetronic ECU's are getting very very hard to come by, and this unit is in great shape. This unit is guaranteed to work on arrival, but due to the nature of "antique" electronic components like this one, there is no warranty beyond that.
