1990 Saab 900 Seat belt buckles receivers Part number 4077616 / 4077632 / 4155594

Up for sale is a good working used Saab Classic 900 seat belt buckle set, driver & passenger side. Good functional units, in reasonably good cosmetic condition. The external "cable hiding" sheeting has some of the typical cracks, but it is hardly noticeable, especially when installed. These are specific to 1990 model year cars ONLY making these rather difficult to find in good used condition. These are mounted to the floor, and have the hoop style receiver, This pair is listed at about 1/8 the price this set used to cost at the dealer, so in addition to these being rare as hens teeth - this is a fantastic deal.

Please note, you will receive one pair of either 4077616 / 4077632, or one pair of 4155594 Units.  The difference between these units is very small, the original 4077616 / 4077632 have a seatbelt illum wire, on one and not the other.  The 4155594 do not have the wire on either, and the cable pitch is slightly different, however you can easily use the 4155594  in place of the 4077616 / 4077632 combination.  - Either way, they will work on your 1990 900, and be more or less correct.

Note, to answer a question, the wire that comes out of the driver side receiver is to deactivate the seatbelt warning light (if you are plugged into the receiver before you start the car, the seatbelt warning light will never illuminate.  Also note that SOME of these units do not have the illumination light.  It's a US market thing.  The units you receive may or may NOT have an illumination wire.  In that case, the fasten belts light will still come on (fastened belts or not), however will go out after about 10 seconds weather your seat belt is fastened or not.  This is the only thing this changes.  I know C-900's, and this is a good working pair. Don't go around with busted seat belt receivers, it is a safety hazard. Replace yours with this good working pair now.
